just water
i went surfing early on saturday morning at this place called short sands. it's a horeshoe cove surrounded by trees and jutting rocks.
the waves were decent...
i got tired quickly...
i didn't wear gloves or a hoodie...
i couldn't feel my hands...
the water gave me brain freeze so bad i thought i was going to pass out...
there really is no way to explain how truly happy and content i was sitting on my board in the sunny mist just off the oregon coast.

I hate when I get hand freeze out in the water. You sure are one lucky dude. I paddled my car out into the line-up to get over the Triborough Bridge on Monday, that was a 45 minute wait with no sunny mist, it was more of a humid squalor.
the empty lot next to our house suddenly grew a "for sale" sign. On the sign it read "zoned for 3-5 units". that's a bit of a red flag. if someone buys the property then starts building apartments on the land, that would make our house a little less desirable. so we decided to see if we could sell it and maybe purchase something a bit smaller, more manageable. some people have been out to the house, but no offers yet. we'll see
